Get plenty of good sleep and try to keep a low-stress lifestyle. Always wash your hands before touching the piercing or the area around it.
Bleeding a bit or being swollen for the first 2-3 days is usual. Just keep the wound clean by washing it once or twice a day with lukewarm water with an antiseptic solution (Dettol etc.) or even saline solution or salt water is good enough to wash the wound. Pat dry the wound with soft tissue paper or cotton pads.
Keep washing the wound once to twice a day till the time it has not healed properly. Keep the piercing wound as dry as possible. Secrete a whitish-yellow fluid that may stick to the piercing. This is normal; when the piercing is healed, it will stop automatically. Do not pick this with your fingers!
